We met up with you yesterday (in the driving rain) to get a couple of hours in at your wonderfull course lake. You "guaranteed" us that we would catch some fish. I must admit that i thought this comment would jinx us and we would sit there getting cold and wet, simply staring at a non moving float tip - The truth is, however, we were catching from the first cast to the last.We had roach, rudd, some great scrapping carp up to 6lb, a wonderful male tench of about 4-5lb and my day was topped of with the biggest crucian carp i have ever seen let alone caught!! (typical - no camera)
All of these were caught - as you predicted - on nothing more than corn and meat! Every fish that we banked was scale perfect - no mouth damage, parasites, bad fins etc. It was such a pleasure to catch fish of such good quality in such a relaxing setting.
We are not normally ones for writing testimonials but we were so overly impressed by what we experienced we thought we would express our grattitude in the form of this email.
We cant wait to get back to you (wives/family allowing) and get some tips from you about how to tackle the carp lake!!!!
